What you're buying

The first thing to know is that the name has changed. ShedRx now trades as Shed, and shedrx.com redirects to tryshed.com. Nothing else about the offer moved with it: this is still the widest set of GLP-1 formats we cover from a single provider. Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as weekly injections, GLP-1 liquid drops, GLP-1 lozenges that dissolve in your mouth, and Foundayo — the brand oral orforglipron tablet — all sit on one menu, alongside Wegovy, Zepbound, a microdose GLP-1, MIC and B12 shots and non-GLP-1 options like metformin and naltrexone-bupropion.

Shed also sells further out than most: NAD+, glutathione, sermorelin, methylene blue, low-dose naltrexone, hair solutions and a full sexual-health line. What comes with a membership is real rather than decorative — health coaching, unlimited follow-up appointments, an online community, nutrition plans and free access to Pivot, a GLP-1 shot-tracking app. The care team is named: Dr. Asad Niazi, an internal medicine physician, plus a nurse, a nutritionist, a health coach and a member success manager. Shed says it takes no share of medical or pharmacy fees and no compensation from pharmacies based on prescription volume.

What it costs (and how it's billed)

The plan tables are published in full on both injection pages, which makes this easy. In August 2026, compounded semaglutide read $199 per month on a 1-month plan, $179 per month on 6 months and $159 per month on 12 months. Compounded tirzepatide read $299, $269 and $239 on the same three rungs. The site's own banner leads with "as low as $159/mo" and "starting as low as $239/mo" — both of which are the twelve-month commitments. The GLP-1 lozenges are sold month-to-month at $199 a month.

The commitment is more than a discount. Shed's terms describe a Minimum Term on the 6- and 12-month subscriptions, and state that no refund will be issued for any cycle within that term except in a short list of cases: an adverse reaction your provider says ends the program, a change Shed itself initiates, active-duty military orders, or death or permanent disability. Medication on those plans ships in cycles of one or two vials, each holding four weeks of doses, and once a cycle has been dispatched it counts as used in full and is non-refundable regardless of how much you took.

Against that sits the 120-day guarantee, which is unusually generous when it applies: lose 5% or hit your goal weight within 120 days, or Shed refunds what you actually paid it over that window — membership fees, program fees, medication and pharmacy charges — and you do not have to return anything already shipped. Brand access works differently from what most people expect: Wegovy and Zepbound "may be purchased directly by Members through third-party pharmacies, including LillyDirect or NovoCare, after Provider approval," so Shed arranges the prescription rather than selling you the drug.

Who can order

Shed does not publish a state list. The terms say providers furnish telehealth only where they hold an active unrestricted license, that availability of any product or modality depends on where you are physically located, and that Shed "may disable asynchronous care" in states where it is not permitted — but nowhere is there a list you can check before entering your details. Membership requires you to be 18 and located in a state where the service is available.

Whether you get a video visit or an asynchronous review is decided by state law and by the provider group, not by you. The terms are governed by Utah law, with an arbitration clause you may opt out of in writing within 30 days.

How the intake works

Four steps and no appointment. A five-minute form covers your health history and which administration method you prefer — that last question is the one that matters here, because it is where you choose between the injection, the drops, the lozenge and the tablet. A medical provider reviews your answers and decides whether you are a fit. Medication ships discreetly to your door.

Ongoing care is where Shed spends its money: coaching by text, unlimited follow-up appointments, health courses and the community. The site notes that free text-based coaching may include automated responses generated by an AI assistant, reviewed by a licensed coach — a disclosure most competitors would leave out. What we'd want changed

The minimum term should be on the price table, not in section 13 of the terms. Shed advertises its cheapest rungs in a rotating banner on every page while the fact that those rungs cannot be refunded lives thousands of words down a legal page. A one-line note beside "12 Months $159" would fix it and would cost Shed nothing it has not already earned with the 120-day guarantee.

A state list is the other gap, and it is a strange one for a company with 150,000 members. We would also flag that the brand lane is a referral rather than a product — Shed helps you buy Wegovy or Zepbound from LillyDirect or NovoCare — which is fine, and worth knowing before you assume brand pricing is bundled into a Shed plan.

Bottom line

If the needle is what is stopping you, Shed is the strongest answer here: four routes on one account, a named physician, coaching that is included rather than upsold, and a weight-loss guarantee with real teeth. Start on the 1-month rung at $199 or $299 while you find out which format you can live with, because the cheaper rungs carry a minimum term with almost no way out.
