Privacy policy

This policy applies to glp1desk.com and the pages published under it. It describes our own practices — not those of the third-party provider sites we link to, each of which runs its own privacy policy that you should read before signing up with them.

When you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may collect anonymized usage data such as the pages you view, how you arrived (your referral source), your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use GA4 in a privacy-forward configuration; we do not receive or store your full IP address, and we do not try to identify you by name.

We do not run accounts, logins, newsletters, or checkout, so we do not ask for your name, address, or payment details. If you choose to email us, we receive whatever you put in that message and use it only to reply.

We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you make a choice, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied by default, so no analytics cookies are written and no measurement occurs. Accept via our cookie banner and analytics turns on; decline and the default denied state simply stays in place.

Your consent decision is stored in your browser's local storage under the cookie-consent key so we do not re-prompt you on every visit. If — and only if — you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may then set its own cookies to measure usage.

We use the aggregate analytics data to see which reviews and articles get read, to fix what is broken, and to decide what to write next. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

GLP-1 Desk does not sell or rent your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where privacy laws such as the CCPA give “sale” and “share” a broad meaning, treat this as our opt-out notice: we do not do it.

Google Analytics is provided by Google, which processes the anonymized usage data described above under its own terms and privacy policy. We also link out to GLP-1 provider websites; when you click through, you leave our site and enter theirs, where their privacy practices apply.

You can decline analytics at any time, and reset your choice by clearing this site's data — or removing the cookie-consent entry — from your browser, which makes the banner appear again on your next visit. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because we do not maintain accounts, most visitors leave no identifiable data with us; if you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, just ask.

GLP-1 Desk is intended for adults 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Aggregate analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings and is not tied to your identity. Any email you send us is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.

We serve glp1desk.com over encrypted HTTPS and keep our footprint deliberately small — the less we collect, the less there is to protect. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
