Privacy policy

This policy applies to glp1desk.com and the pages published under it. It describes our own practices — not those of the third-party provider sites we link to, each of which runs its own privacy policy that you should read before signing up with them.

Google Analytics 4 collects anonymized usage data such as the pages you view, how you arrived (your referral source), your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use GA4 in a privacy-forward configuration; we do not receive or store your full IP address, and we do not try to identify you by name.

We do not run accounts, logins, newsletters, or checkout, so we do not ask for your name, address, or payment details. If you choose to email us, we receive whatever you put in that message and use it only to reply.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 on an opt-out basis. Analytics storage is set to granted from the moment the page loads, and the banner tells you so rather than asking first. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization stay denied at all times, so nothing here feeds ad targeting. Opting out is one tap, on the banner or in “Your choices” below.

Your decision is stored in your browser's local storage under the cookie-consent key so the banner does not reappear on every visit. That makes the setting per browser and per device. Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies to measure usage; opting out deletes them.

We use the aggregate analytics data to see which reviews and articles get read, to fix what is broken, and to decide what to write next. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

GLP-1 Desk does not sell or rent your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where privacy laws such as the CCPA give “sale” and “share” a broad meaning, treat this as our opt-out notice: we do not do it.

Google Analytics is provided by Google, which processes the anonymized usage data described above under its own terms and privacy policy. We also link out to GLP-1 provider websites; when you click through, you leave our site and enter theirs, where their privacy practices apply.

One button, and it takes effect immediately — no reload. Turning analytics off sets Consent Mode to denied for this browser, stops GA4 identifying the session, and deletes the Google Analytics cookies already in your browser. The setting lives under the cookie-consent key; clearing this site's data resets you to the default. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because we do not maintain accounts, most visitors leave no identifiable data with us; if you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, just ask.

GLP-1 Desk is intended for adults 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Aggregate analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings and is not tied to your identity. Any email you send us is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.

We serve glp1desk.com over encrypted HTTPS and keep our footprint deliberately small — the less we collect, the less there is to protect. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
