How the Desk is funded

GLP-1 Desk is an independent, reader-supported research publication. We score GLP-1 telehealth providers and, when you enroll with some of them through our links, we may earn a referral commission. U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidance asks sites like ours to say that clearly and conspicuously, so we put it here, in our footer, and near the links themselves.

If you click through to a provider's site and enroll, that provider may pay the Desk a referral commission, in most cases through an affiliate network. You pay exactly the same price whether or not you came through us; the commission comes out of the provider's marketing budget, not your pocket. Not every link earns us anything, and you should assume any provider we list may compensate us unless we say otherwise.

The Desk Score is computed from six weighted factors applied identically to every provider — see the methodology. A commercial relationship cannot change that score by a single point, and cannot change the price you pay. What a paid relationship does affect is placement — that is what our funding moves, and we would rather print it here than leave you to work it out. What it does not move is the write-up: when a provider we earn from has a weak spot, the dispatch says so, and where the evidence is thin we say that too, including for the providers we earn on.

We research and score providers regardless of whether a commercial arrangement exists, because a desk that only covers paying providers is not a desk worth reading. When a provider we happen to earn from has a weak spot, we say so; when one we earn nothing from is strong, we say that too. If a commission ever conflicted with an honest read, the read wins.

Our relationships with providers are ordinary affiliate arrangements, typically arranged through third-party networks. We are not a pharmacy, a prescriber, or a telehealth company, and we hold no ownership stake in, or paid advisory role with, the providers we cover. We do not accept payment to write a specific conclusion, and we do not cover every GLP-1 provider — only those we have actively researched.
