What you're buying

Sprout Health is a compounded GLP-1 service with a brand-name option bolted on and an NAD+ line beside it. The four weight-loss tiles on the home page are compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide, Wegovy and Zepbound, which means you can move to a genuine FDA-approved drug without changing providers — something most sellers at this price cannot offer.

The company is Sprout Health Partners LLC, based at 1042 El Camino Real in Encinitas, California. It describes itself as a platform that connects you with independent licensed clinicians and state-licensed pharmacies rather than a practice, and the small print includes an unusual line: your prescription goes to a partner pharmacy "unless you specify a different licensed pharmacy of your choice." No pharmacy is named anywhere on the site, and no medical director is either.

What it costs (and how it's billed)

This is where Sprout costs itself credit, and the mechanism has not changed. The home page prints "Starting at $149 / month" for compounded semaglutide and "Starting at $199 / month" for compounded tirzepatide, unqualified, as if those were the rates. The funnel page a click later says what they actually are: "Compounded GLP-1 — Starting at $299/ month — Now from $149 / first month", under a banner reading "$150 OFF YOUR FIRST MONTH." The standing rate is $299 a month for semaglutide, and $349 a month for tirzepatide once you add the same $150 discount back to its $199 first month.

A customer testimonial on the same funnel page settles it in the customer's own words: "I pay a flat fee of $299. each month." Brand access is priced separately, and it is dear — Wegovy from $1,799/mo and Zepbound from $1,999/mo, well above what the manufacturers charge cash-pay patients directly.

Plans renew automatically as a monthly, three-month or six-month subscription, with the charge, frequency and date shown at checkout. The refund policy, updated in July 2026, is the most detailed part of the site and it is fair: a full refund before a clinician has reviewed your intake, a refund minus a flat $50 clinical review fee after the review but before the prescription reaches the pharmacy, and nothing after that. Multi-month plans prorate properly on early cancellation — Sprout divides what you actually paid by the number of months and refunds the unshipped ones, worked through with an example. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice before the next billing date.

Who can order

Sprout publishes no state list at all. There is no state-availability page, no per-product note, and no exception named in the terms — the only signal is the pre-qualification quiz, which decides for you after you have entered your details. For a service that is otherwise clear about billing, that is a strange thing to withhold.

The intake also gates the price. The eligibility quiz comes before you see anything binding, and the standing rate only appears on the funnel page, not the home page you land on.

How the intake works

Nine documented steps, which is more process than most sellers publish. You take a pre-qualification quiz, purchase the plan, then complete a fuller medical questionnaire that arrives by email and lives in a medical portal you reach with a one-time passcode rather than a password. A licensed clinician reviews it; if you do not qualify, the order is canceled and refunded. Prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy within about two business days of the completed questionnaire, and orders typically ship within three to seven business days.

Refills repeat the questionnaire every cycle so the clinician can assess progress, side effects and dose — nothing ships until that is submitted and a new prescription is approved. What we'd want changed

Print the real price on the home page. A tile that says "Starting at $149 / month" next to a tile that says "$1,799" reads as two comparable monthly rates, and only one of them is. The discount is legitimate and the funnel discloses it properly; leading with it on the storefront is the part that misleads, and it survives exactly the kind of quick check a shopper does before committing.

Then publish a state list, and name the pharmacy. Sprout writes better refund terms than almost anyone here and then withholds the two facts a patient most needs before paying. We would also note the FDA issued Sprout Health Partners LLC a warning letter in September 2025, which is public in the agency's warning-letter database and which the company's own pages do not mention.

Bottom line

Sprout's real offer is $299 a month for compounded semaglutide and $349 a month for compounded tirzepatide, with $150 off the first month, a genuine brand lane if you want to switch, and the clearest cancellation and proration terms we have read. That is a fair mid-market deal described dishonestly on the page most people see first. Go in knowing the second month is double the first, and use the multi-month plans with more confidence than usual, because they are among the few here that actually refund the months you never received.
