What you're buying

Care Clinics sells fixed-length weight-loss programs rather than a monthly subscription, and that single structural choice explains almost everything about the site. You buy a block of weeks — seven, twelve, or one of the extended plans that run to twenty weeks — and the price covers a telehealth consultation, the medication for that whole block, syringes, alcohol pads, a written dosing schedule and courier shipping to your door. There is no membership, no auto-renewal and no monthly charge.

Two molecules are offered, labeled by mechanism rather than by name: GLP-1 is semaglutide and GLP-1/GIP is tirzepatide. Both are weekly injections; there is no oral route and no brand lane. The programs are built as titration schedules published in advance, which is unusually specific for this category — the three-month semaglutide plan steps 0.5 mg for three weeks, 0.75 mg for three weeks, 1 mg for three weeks and 1.7 mg for the last three, and the three-month tirzepatide plan steps 2.5 mg for three weeks, 5 mg for four and 7.5 mg for five.

The disclosure is better than the presentation. The legal entity is Care Clinics PLLC, the pharmacy is named as Partell Pharmacy and described as a 503A FDA-registered compounder, and the provider page lists nine clinicians by name with the state each covers — Timothy Ramos in Florida, Cindy Zamorategui in Texas, Laurie Niles across Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho and Wyoming, and six others. Naming the prescriber for your own state before you book is something almost nobody else here does. There is no named medical director, and the LegitScript claim is made in text without a certification number.

What it costs (and how it's billed)

The semaglutide program is $259 for seven weeks or $299 for three months, medication included — which works out at roughly $100 for each of those three months, among the lowest effective rates we have seen anywhere. Extended semaglutide plans hold one dose for longer at a flat $499: 1 mg for twenty weeks, 1.5 mg for sixteen, 1.75 mg for fourteen, 2 mg for twelve or 2.5 mg for ten.

The tirzepatide side is cheap too and considerably less consistent. The home page prices a three-month GLP-1/GIP program at $349 and a four-week program at $299; the dedicated tirzepatide page headlines "$399 for 3 months" and its closing panel offers "Only for $329" including four weeks of medication. That is four figures for two products, and the home page and the product page disagree about both of them. The extended tirzepatide plans are priced by dose and duration: $999 for 5 mg weekly over six months, $1,299 for 7.5 mg over six months, $1,599 for 10 mg over six months, $1,599 for 12.5 mg over five months and $1,599 for 15 mg over four months.

California costs more, and Care Clinics explains why rather than hiding it. The seven-week semaglutide program is $259 in most states and $329 in California, and the FAQ says the reason is that the state's pharmacy regulator stops most out-of-state pharmacies shipping there, leaving few compounders and higher prices. That is a straight answer to an awkward question.

Two charges sit outside the program price. Booking a consultation requires a $40 deposit, which the FAQ says goes toward the final price with no additional charge. And if you want the prescription sent to a pharmacy of your own choosing instead of theirs, you pay $125 for the consultation alone and Care Clinics will not guarantee your pharmacy's stock or price. Who can order

The FAQ publishes the full list, which is the right way to answer this: 31 states plus the District of Columbia. Texas, Florida, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Arizona, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, Connecticut, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Washington, New York, Hawaii, Tennessee, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky and Wisconsin. The booking system asks you to select your state first.

One answer muddies it. Describing the two-month tirzepatide plan, the FAQ says "GLP-1/GIP is available in Arkansas" with no further explanation, which reads either as a leftover from a smaller launch or as a restriction on that specific plan. Nothing else on the site limits tirzepatide by state. Beyond geography, the site quotes the standard clinical thresholds — a body mass index of 30 or more, or 27 or more with a weight-related condition — inside an explanatory paragraph rather than as its own eligibility rule.

How the intake works

You book an appointment through an online scheduler, paying the $40 deposit charged to hold the slot, and select your state so you are matched to a clinician licensed there. The consultation is a live audio-video telehealth visit with one of the nine named providers — a real appointment, not an asynchronous questionnaire, which is a meaningfully different product from most of this category and the reason the clinic asks for a deposit at all.

The provider then builds a plan and sends the prescription to the pharmacy, which ships to the address you registered. The site gives two different delivery estimates: the FAQ says medication may take seven to ten business days by commercial courier, while the program pages say three to five business days by UPS or FedEx. Support is a phone number answered by staff who will help you choose a program, plus a contact form and an email address. Published hours we did not find.

What we'd want changed

Make the tirzepatide price agree with itself. A three-month program cannot be $349 on the home page and $399 on the page dedicated to it, and a four-week program cannot be $299 in one place and $329 in another. The semaglutide numbers are consistent across every surface, which shows the site can do it. Right now a reader has no way to know which figure the booking portal will actually charge.

Then fix the shipping estimate and the copyright line. Seven to ten business days in the FAQ against three to five on the program pages is a real difference to somebody timing a first dose. And a footer that reads "Copyright 2023 Clinic Care" — the wrong year and the wrong company name, on a page that elsewhere identifies itself as Care Clinics PLLC — undercuts a site that otherwise names its pharmacy, its entity and nine individual prescribers. The presentation, frankly, does this clinic a disservice: the substance is better than the storefront.

Bottom line

On price per week of medication, Care Clinics is one of the cheapest routes to either molecule we have found — $299 for a full twelve-week semaglutide program, medication included, is under half what a monthly subscription elsewhere would cost over the same period. You get a live video consultation with a named clinician licensed in your state, a published titration schedule, a named 503A pharmacy and no auto-renewal. What you also get is a website that contradicts itself about tirzepatide pricing and shipping times, and a $40 deposit charged before you learn which figure applies to you.
